It’s official — Team Nika is on the ballot!! I am grateful to all who helped us get nomination signatures safely. September 1st, 2020 here we come!\u00a0
Campaigning during COVID is surreal, but one thing hasn’t changed. It is still a team effort. More than ever, the theme of our campaign has been service. Whether I’m shopping for a disabled constituent in Mission Hill, washing and packing masks for the youth group at Mildred C. Hailey housing development, surveying small businesses in Roslindale, or negotiating with\u00a0the Office of Campaign & Political Finance to approve Team Nika donations to the Mutual Aid Brookline Network, every single act of service\u00a0is interconnected with an amazing range of diverse volunteers and supporters.\u00a0
For now this service\u00a0is our campaign. It’s what is needed. It’s where I have to focus, and where all of us are focused. (That and passing COVID-recovery legislation).
I can’t believe I’m already running for my second term as State Representative. With your help, I will continue to serve the Commonwealth in the best job I’ve ever had!\u00a0
