This week, State Rep. Russell Holmes of Mattapan endorsed Nika for State Senate.
On Monday July 25, Rep. Holmes commented in a statement, “Nika has worked with business leaders, particularly with our Main Streets organizations to meet their hiring needs and to employ local youth and young adults, especially those living in public and affordable housing.” Holmes’ statement reflects his long and rich relationship to the Mattapan Square neighborhood and business community. He has represented the Sixth Suffolk district in the Massachusetts House of Representatives since 2010.
Nika commented, “Our campaign is so very fortunate to have Rep Holmes support. We welcome his experience and insight on community development issues both here in our district and statewide.”
